Letica Corporation's quality program is based on a "continuous
process improvement" approach to all business processes aimed at
overall improved performance and customer satisfaction.
The key elements to the program are derived from the TS 16949 (2004)
standard and have been implemented through four major areas of emphasis:
- Management Commitment
- Quality Operating System
- Quality Management/Business Systems (based on the ISO model)
- Training
In implementing this program, Letica has placed a major emphasis on
the establishment and improvement of systems and monitoring of actions
to ensure measurable and continuous improvement. The major driver of this
activity has been the quality operating system and the many actions that
support "key measurables". Driving continuous improvement through
the organization has allowed associates to share their talents and knowledge
on key projects and initiatives, utilizing powerful tools such as SPC
and designed experimentation to improve quality.
